Brand Story

Once an imperial tribute to emperors, grains from Jilin are cultivated in ideal weather conditions and one of only three known black soil belts in the world

Quality grains from Jilin

Situated along the "Golden Corn Belt" in China, Jilin is considered China's granary and a major production base for corns.

Ideal cultivation environment

Grains grown in Jilin thrive in ideal weather conditions. They are cultivated with potable water of national grade levels, fertile black soils and clean and unpolluted air.

High nutritional value

A staple in the Chinese diet, cut maize is commonly consumed as part of breakfast, and either prepared as porridge or buns. Cut maize is packed with folate, vitamins B1 and B3. The vitamin B complex helps in metabolising and absorbing the food we eat. 1 cup of cooked cut maize contains 20% of vitamin B1, 25% of folate and about 16% of the required daily intake.

Promoting muscle gain and weight loss

Cut maize contains plenty of leucine, a type of amino acid that enhances muscle growth. It also keeps you feeling full for a longer time and satisfies appetite.

Preparation method

Boil for at least 30 minutes and reduce to simmer, with 1 cup cut maize and 3 cups water. Serve with milk, brown sugar, maple syrup, toasted nuts or seeds, or your favourite jam.
