Claypot Rice

300g Fragrance 43°N Jilin Japonica Rice
300g Water 300g Pork ribs (cut into small pieces)
4pcs Mushrooms (cut in half)
1pc Chinese sausage 
1 stalk Spring onion, sliced into 3cm sticks

Pork Marinade
½ tbsp Light soya sauce
1 tbsp Oyster sauce
½ tbsp Sesame oil
1 tsp Corn flour

2 tbsp Dark soya sauce
1 tsp Sesame oil

  • Mix pork ribs, mushroom together with marinade.

  • Put water in claypot, cover with lid and bring to boil. Place Fragrance 43°N Jilin Japonica Rice in the claypot. Lower the heat and cook for 10 minutes or till rice is firm.

  • Place marinated pork ribs, mushrooms and Chinese sausage on top of the rice and cover. Continue to cook for another 10 minutes. Do not stir the rice.

  • Pour sauce over the rice and garnish with spring onions.
