Jilin Japonica Rice
Goodness in every grain, imperial quality for your everyday meals.
Known for its quality texture, sweet aftertaste and tantalizing aroma, Jilin Japonica rice was once an imperial tribute for emperors.
The 43rd Parallel North Latitude
Named after the 43rd parallel north latitude, Fragrance 43°N is grown under ideal weather conditions similar to Hokkaido, Japan’s most agriculturally rich prefecture. Huge temperature fluctuations, combined with long hours of sunlight exposure during the ripening phase of our crops ensure that our rice is deliciously sweet and has the highest amount of nutrients possible.
Harvested once every year
Most paddy fields around the world typically sow and harvest twice a year. In Jilin, because of its long winter, crops can only be sowed and harvested once a year. With an extended resting period of the soil, our crops are provided with the most optimal conditions for growth and nutrients retention.
